BSC.tools’ Progress Update — March 29th, 2021

Firstly, we’d like to thank you, our dear followers and supporters, for being such generous and patient. We are fully aware of what your expectations are on the project and we are trying our best to meet them. Our goal is still strong and clear, being the pioneer and the most advanced charting and data analysis tools on Binance Smart Chain.
As you know, past weeks saw the unexpected technical issues of BSC Blockchain, resulting in lots of errors and delays of projects progressing on it. We at BSC.tools are gradually taking control and still managed to deliver many updates in the upcoming weeks.

From now on, we will publish the project progress every week so our followers can keep track of BSC.tools’ development.

Project Development

Run BSC.tools on the Test version with the following updates:

1. Displayed separate volume number under price candles of the chart
2. Added various variants of time indicator: 1M, 5M, 15M, 1H, 4H, 12H, 1D, 3Ds, 1W
3. Scanned data of all pairs on Binance Smart Chain’s database. (around 1,000 pairs, some very new pairs ranged from Feb 26th — Mar 05th are missing)
4. Added hot 10 pairs, top 100 pairs following pancakeswap.info.
5. Added all available pairs on BSC blockchain on Search Bar. Added “verified” green tick symbol for top 100 pairs.
6. Added expand/ collapse button based on the web’s layout.

Challenges Encountered:

1. There were tons of pairs on the blockchain that have similar names and symbols which may result in duplicate results when scanning data. We are trying to figure out how to point out which pair is the main one with real data, which pair is the duplicate one with no data.
2. We lacked our own source of Token Logo. We’re using other sources such as trustwallet’s github, pancakeswap.info
3. Lacked of pair’s criteria, currently pick top 10 on Dashboard/ Hot pair and top 100 on pair explorer

Solutions:

1. We are recruiting more to manually carry out data processing progress.
2. We are manually uploading logos of all tokens onto BSC.tools’ github so we can no longer depend on other sources like trustwallet or pancake.
3. Pairs criteria will be based on top 10, top 100 of pancakeswap.info. Will be adjusted on demand.

Expected progress in the upcoming week

1. Continue testing to justify the accuracy of data before uploading to main version of BSC.tools
2. Complete APIs to display top 10, top 100 pairs and display full data onto BSC.tools
3. Complete uploading tokens logo to BSC.tools’ github

Marketing

1. We partnered with Binance Smart Chain’s projects to do cross AMA, giveaway and marketing to gain more exposure and users. Traders on BSC are currently lacking a source of tracking price, BSC.tools come in as a solution.
   a. List Berry, Swingby, BoringDAO on Pair Explorer.
   b. AMA with BerryData, Staybase, Cubiex, and Squirrel DeFi.
2. Hold weekly AMAs and Giveaways on big Telegram group chat and Twitter KOLs to gain more exposure.
3. Partnered with Youtube KOLs to create review content to gain more exposure.
4. Performed airdrops to gain more exposure and users.
5. Recorded and tracked down every feedback from the community to improve the product and marketing strategy.
